Early Learning Program
The Early Learning Program at Makor HaEmet is a weekly gathering for preschool-aged children and their families. It offers two and a half hours of teacher-led learning shaped by a Messianic Jewish worldview and grounded in the rhythms of Scripture, worship, and community.
This one-day-a-week class is designed for children ages 3–4. Our goal is to lay a strong foundation for both spiritual and academic growth in a joyful, relational setting. We follow the biblical calendar, celebrate the feasts, and honor Shabbat. Our classrooms are filled with worship, wonder, and routines that reflect the heart of God.

Schedule
The program meets on Wednesdays from 9:00 to 11:30 AM, followed by an optional community lunch and “Playing Skillfully” play-date until 12:30 PM. The fall semester runs from September 3 through December 17 (15 weeks).

Parent Participation
Parents are welcome to remain on site. A parent devotional and fellowship time will be available nearby, or parents may use the study room to work with older children or work remotely.

Location
Classes take place on the beautiful, gated campus of Congregation Beth Messiah in Houston, Texas. The classroom includes a secure children’s bathroom, and all rooms are equipped with safety cameras. Children must be fully potty-trained to attend.

What to Bring
Each child should bring a backpack with a change of clothes. A short supply list will be provided at orientation. Please pack lunches that do not require refrigeration. Students wear their Makor HaEmet t-shirt on school days.

Lunch & Playdate
After the structured session ends, families are invited to stay for lunchtime and Makor HaEmet's enrichment course on Hebrew, worship, and the flow of the biblical calendar.

Program Information
The program is offered in connection with our synagogue community and operates under Texas’s religious exemption for ministry-based education. It is not a state-licensed child-care facility.
