Admissions Process Overview
Step 1. Attend a Parent Info Meeting
Our Parent Info Meeting is the first step in getting to know our school. During this time, you’ll hear about our mission, Messianic Jewish foundation, University-Model structure, and the expectations of partnership between school and home. This is also an opportunity to ask questions and prayerfully consider whether our community is the right fit for your family. Visit our Events page to RSVP for the next meeting, or email info@makorhaemet.org for details.
Step 2. Submit an application
After attending an Info Meeting, families may submit a student application. The application allows us to learn more about your child’s academic background, personality, and learning needs, as well as your family’s educational goals. This step helps us begin discerning readiness and alignment.
Step 3. Register for admissions testing
Students participate in age-appropriate admissions testing to assess academic readiness and foundational skills. This is not a high-pressure experience, but rather a way for us to ensure your child is prepared for the academic expectations of our program. Results also help us understand how to best support each student if admitted.
Step 4. Family interview
The final step is a family interview with school leadership. This conversation allows us to build relationship, discuss expectations, and ensure shared Messianic vision and commitment to the University-Model partnership. Our desire is that every enrolled family feels confident, aligned, and supported as part of our school community.
