Open to Pre K through 6th Grade
This enrichment hour introduces students to the language, traditions, and rhythms of authentic Jewish life through Hebrew study and the biblical calendar. The course is designed for both Messianic Jewish and Christian families who want their children to understand the Jewish foundation of the Scriptures and the life of Yeshua.
Students learn Hebrew as a language through guided instruction and workbooks. They practice the Hebrew alphabet, phonetic reading, vocabulary, and simple writing. Younger students begin with letters and sounds while older students develop reading ability and expand vocabulary.
Throughout the year, students learn the biblical calendar, including Shabbat and the appointed times such as Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot. Lessons explore the meaning and history of these seasons and how they have been practiced within Jewish life for generations.
Hands on projects and seasonal activities help students engage with the traditions connected to each feast. Students are also introduced to mitzvot and Jewish values such as kindness, gratitude, honoring others, and responsibility within our community.
Please Note:
Students who are enrolled as full-day students in the Pre-K–2nd grade program automatically participate in the 2:00–3:00 PM enrichment period as part of their school day, at no additional cost.
Families with children in Pre-K–6th grade who would like to join only the afternoon Community Enrichment program are also welcome to apply. Students attending enrichment only must complete the application process and pay the tuition below.
